A lifelong lover of art, Michael J Maddalena is now creating a number of works spanning various styles and media.

Maddalena attended the School of Visual Arts and subsequently earned a B.A. in studio art from Stony Brook University. Upon graduation, Maddalena left the local area to pursue his art.

Maddalena was associated for several years with renowned artist, Mihai Popa, during which time he resided and worked in the round barrel house known as "The Arc" and adjoining studio. Located in Bridgehampton, the property was recently showcased on HGTV during a show featuring "extreme" homes across America. While there, Maddalena used his skill and talent to create massive sculptures and paintings using different media, such as wood, concrete and steel.

After gaining experience and exposure to the art scene in the Hamptons, Maddalena moved to New York City. He became intrigued with the myriad new methods and creative opportunities that computer graphics offer an artist.

By combining his knowledge of traditional methods of fine art drawing and painting with the use of digital graphic illustration. With stunning results, Maddalena has created a large body of work using many different media and approaches.
